PURPUSE OF THE DTS
The purpose of the DTS is to bring together and challenge people to praise, to hear and obey God, to serve through evangelism, intercession, acts of compassion and other ways to show God’s heart to the world, including new ministries they will be pioneering.

Inspire and cultivate growth in the student’s relationship with God based in a solid biblical base, the work of the Holy Spirit and the personal application of the biblical truth, especially in relating with the character of God, His Grace and the Cross.

To enable you in relational areas, to learn to work with people, especially those of different cultures, personalities, and perspectives

To equip you in the task of serving the purposes of God, inside and outside of the YWAM family, to re-enforce the commitment of reaching the lost, assisting the poor, and influencing all areas of society

To impart the vision and fundamental values of Youth With A Mission International, as well as to place and provide information about the variety of opportunities to serve.
The objective of the DTS is to graduate the students in:

An increasing comprehension of the extent and depth of the character of God

That they become more like Jesus in the way they relate with the Father and His people

That they have intensified the power of the Holy Spirit in themselves

That they hear and obey God

That they can share the gospel with the lost and have a life committed in some way to continuing the work that God is doing in the nations, including the unreached groups of people, the poor, the needy.

that they understand the calling and the values of YWAM and are conscious of the great variety of opportunities available to them through YWAM

To have an more clear understanding of the purposes of God for their life and a sense of direction in their life

That they serve God in a context familiar or foreign to them of seeking future training (inside or outside of YWAM), to prepare themselves to complete the purpose of their life.
DTS
OUTREACH
Two months working in diverse places. The school is purposed to help every student reach Christ’s character in a practical and intensive way, to identify and develop the students, ministries opportunities and to equip the person to better help their church or wherever their calling might be.
It’s a great opportunity to share the gospel with those that may have never experienced god’s love personally.
During the Outreach, the students are able to have experiences in deep evangelism with god. The outreach is dedicated in different places/churches and in many different ways: Through praise, acting, games, serving others with hospitality, speaking on the streets, and much more. Every person plays a very important role and can impact the life of someone with a simple word or simply paying attention to them.
THEORICAL
The DTS is an internal course that lasts 5 months and is divided into two parts. The first is the THEORY PHASE which is three months of intense ministration from the word of god, with topics that help us to develop our character in God.
